Me or Mini Mike?
Come on TT that name-calling is beneath you.
At least he didn't call anybody a lying dog faced pony soldier.
Do you even know where that came from and have you seen the actual clip?

No sarcasm, I didn't really meet him or talk to him, he was sitting across from me at another table and I could hear him talking to the others at his table and he looked and sounded exactly like LBJ and I was thinking this man is LBJ's twin brother and I continued thinking that for a long time. It was years later I found out LBJ didn't have a twin brother.
Yeah you were actual listening to the real LBJ one of the ones that helped get electricity and water and phones to the rural area with loans that were paid back to be used again and again. Really great when a socialist really think and do for what is the good for America.
Good one Hurley, never realized you had a comedic side.
Actually in the establishment of the REA there had to be a minimum of families per mile of line before Electricity could be implemented. LBJ worked hard to get these limits lifted and Electricity came to all rural families. TT never thought of you as being an azz hole but I beginning to change my mind.

LBJ wasn’t even in office when rural electrification kicked off, Sam Rayburn was the daddy of that.
https://tshaonline.org/handbook/online/articles/dpr01

All LBJ ever did was ride Rayburns coat tails and eat out of George R Browns pocket. Johnson was Browns lap dog and he repaid Brown in Texas and Vietnam construction projects with American blood and dollars.

“Herman and George Brown, won the contract to build Mansfield Dam thanks to the efforts of Johnson, who was then a Texas congressman.

After Johnson took over the Oval Office, Brown & Root won contracts for huge construction projects for the federal government. By the mid-1960s, newspaper columnists and the Republican minority in Congress began to suggest that the company's good luck was tied to its sizable contributions to Johnson's political campaign.

More questions were raised when a consortium of which Brown & Root was a part won a $380 million contract to build airports, bases, hospitals and other facilities for the U.S. Navy in South Vietnam. By 1967, the General Accounting Office had faulted the "Vietnam builders" -- as they were known -- for massive accounting lapses and allowing thefts of materials.”

Hurley LBJ is definitely not one our states finest examples to wave around.
His picture belonged in the Post Office.

I thought it was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard someone in a position of authority utter and although I’ve seen the clip numerous times I have no idea where it originated.

Please enlighten us.

It is what Biden thought was a quote from an old John Wayne Movie. He got it wrong. The quote doesn't appear in that movie but he has it confused with another old Tyrone Power western, "The Pony Solider" He said it in a joking way and has used it before. The actual quote is "The pony soldier speaks with a tongue of the snake that rattles".

Edit to add this:
Biden explained the provenance of “lying dog-faced pony soldier” at a North Dakota rally in 2018, saying that his brother loved to use lines from movies.

“There’s a line in a movie, a John Wayne movie, where the Indian chief turns to John Wayne and says, this is a lying dog-faced pony soldier,” Biden said.
He has confused a quote in a John Wanye Movie with the other movie and has said it several times before.

The real fireworks are between Trump and Bloomberg. This is going to be really something to watch play out on Twitter.

If Bloomberg gets elected Soros will have free rein. They already march to the beat of the same drummer.
We are currently watching the downfall of the USA from within if we don’t get our act together.

Trump should ignore him until he actually earns the nomination.

“We will BURY YOU! We can’t expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism. We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within.”

We are already on that path. The country has become very tribal on both sides. Only it is not Republican vs Democrat, it is whether you like Trump or not.

Yes, Biden is confused, often. The front runner status so far has been an elderly confused man, who has been replaced by an angry socialist man that admires Castro. What is wrong with our politics?
