Yes, Hurley, I know where , "I have miles to go and promises to keep before I sleep" comes from. "Stopping By the Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost is one of my favorite poems and I use that quote a lot. Excuse me for not giving credit. I was not trying to steal his words. I have better things to do than pick every little thing someone posts on here. If I did,I would be making quite a few comments every day.
God bless you all. I won't be posting anymore. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this forum. I have learned a lot and received many blessings from you who post on Daily Inspiration. Good luck to you all in your cattle operations.

Psalms 1:1
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Philippians 2:3-4

"When you do things, do not let selfishness or pride be your guide. Instead be humble and give more honor to others than to yourselves. Do not be interested only in your own life, but be interested in the lives of others."

Here is a Robert Frost poem that describes my life. Very sorry for correcting you. Apologize and may the luck of the Irish be with you.
The Road Not Taken - Poem by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Robert Frost

Here's a great quote from another American Poet:

Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you.

Thanksgiving is the day that it is usually easy to be grateful. It is easy when things are going my way. It is easy when life is easy. But this verse has one key word...ALL. We are supposed to give thanks in ALL circumstances. The good, the bad, the ugly. The difficult, the fun, the horrible. The only reason we can do that is because of Jesus Christ in us. Give thanks today and every day in ALL.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Great thought and truth from Jesus Calling- "Do not fear your weakness, for it is the stage on which God's Power and His Glory perform most brilliantly."

Have always liked Red Steagall... Do you ever watch his show "West of Wallstreet" on RFDTV?
