antibiotic free beef ?

Postby willow bottom » Wed Jan 03, 2018 1:01 pm

For the folks marketing their beef as antibiotic free... What are the restrictions regarding antibiotics?

I'm assuming people that are selling halves/wholes/or cuts that are advertising their beef as antibiotic free have never given the calf a blackleg vaccination. what do yall think

A blackleg shot is a vaccine not an antibiotic. It is given as a preventive to stop clostridial diseases

Vacines are OK. It's the Growth Enhancers and antibotics that are not used. I don't use vacines that are not needed for my area

I think you assume wrong by including vaccines as antibiotics.

Cows are starting to die. Know a person who lost 3 last week. Another lost two already this week.
