Here are a few photos from today's visit with Oldhe cattle. Thanks to Tim and Trudy Oldhe for making us welcome, we sure enjoyed viewing some great cattle. Tim sure knows his cattle and his genetics. A great day for sure!

The next group of photos:

The boss on the right and Tim discussing cattle.

A paxton calf out of a Rear End daughter

This is one of the I can't remember girls but I like her. This is typical of the cows we saw, deep thick with beautiful udders.

Image

Another bull I want in the tank he is a young one out of if I remember correctly paxton he just looks like an Angus bull is supposed to look. A young but I think one that is going to be around for awhile. His name was zodiak I do remember that much.

Awesome pictures! Great looking cattle.
Hope you are kicking off your retirement with a lot of memories. By the time you get home you might be ready to sleep in! Lol

To bad about gabby, thats what lounging at the pool (pond) gets you. More work!
Glad to hear your enjoying your trip.

Interesting thanks Gizmon. I'll have to keep an eye out to see if any of those show up in our semen catalogues.

We won't be at any cattle operations for the next few days were visiting with our nephew in Cheyenne WY. He is stationed at Warren Air Force base here. Yesterday we drove for 9 hours then went out to dinner with our nephew and his family. Great food and company! Marc took us on a neat tour of the base, they have antelope running all over the place it was cool.

We spent Saturday touring downtown Cheyenne, a neat town not as big as I was expecting with it being the capital. The people were so friendly we went to the cowgirl museum. My nephew told me they had to take the family cowgirl there! Sunday we got up early to watch the Frontier Days cattle drive it was really neat. I figured some of the CTfolks would get a kick out of it.

We were told they did this every year on the Sunday before the start of Frontier Days I sure got a kick out of it. We spent Sunday afternoon touring ft Laramie if your in to history and I am you would love it.

This is enlisted Calvery barracks at the fort. I took a lot more photos but they are still on the camera.

Looks like a fun trip, wish I would have seen it earlier. You were only 30 miles from us at Ohlde's and likely drove within 5-10.

Jake

I hate we missed you I would love to see some of the bulls you have added to your bull line up. We are pulling a jeep so we have been setting up in campsites then running around sightseeing in the jeep. You live in some beautiful country.

Here is a couple of videos of the first 5 days of the trip.

I don't know if this will work but I am trying to get all computer smart!
