We had to cut two more loads of poles before our current permit expires on Wednesday. We were planning on Monday and Tuesday. But the forecast for Tuesday is 90+ degrees. So we cut a load this morning. We got snowed on. We are probably around 5,000 feet in the Blue Mountains. Snow today and 90 on Tuesday. Welcome to Eastern Oregon.

 I’m guessing it snows in Texas in June about as often as it hits 100 degrees in February in your neck of the woods. The similarity I was speaking of is the how much and quickly weather can change.
