Heifers on Pasture Video

Post by Silver » Sun Jun 30, 2019 1:28 pm

Found one group of heifers this morning. We've been getting some rain the last week, so things are picking back up.

Also, a couple of "calves" in the hay. I had just seen the rest of the group of about 30 pairs but didn't think to pull out the camera. Sorry it's sideways, can't figure out how to flip it.

Silver, they appear to be in a forest.

No problem.
Nice calves too.

TT, in the north that is what passes for a large part of our pastures.

Nice looking heifers! Very slick and NO flies, which is the bane of my existence this time of year.

Darn good looking group regardless of where they are.

They all look great, but those red blaze face girls are beautiful.

Your heifers look great. Do the flies get very bad up there in the summer, the heifers didn't seem to be to agitated by them?

Thanks. No, flies aren't much of a deal here. No fly control is required.
