Fly tagging heifers

Postby tncattle » Thu Aug 24, 2017 8:25 am

This was on July 3 and I'm just putting it on here. My 11 yr. old boy is pushing them up through the alley (he's not in the video) and my 9 yr. old daughter is recording and talking. I wear a mask because dealing with all those fly tags can get too much of the chemicals in my lungs. We tagged both ears on 40 heifers and this is the only one that threw a fit.

Working slow, moving calmly, ...looks good!!
After all the improvements and gadgets invented for working cattle, the grabbing those nostrils trick is still effective.
