Double what I thought she would. I hear mixed things regarding pricing of red cows. But, she did very well, I was pleased.

Sale barn never called us back with an update but today we got a check and she was listed on it-so she either sold or they paid for her. I assume they caught her and she was listed as being pregnant--(unless she jumped after they had tested her).

She had never jumped before, so loaded just fine.

We do have farm insurance. Never had to use it before though.

She has never jumped before.

She loaded fine-walked right in. Was hand raised, so gentle with us. But, she has never been in a trailer before, so that probably got her excited.

Just got a phone call one of my cows jumped the fence at the sale barn and got out. They have not caught her yet. I have never had that happen before. What is the normal procedure here? Am I responsible or is the barn? Will I get billed for her getting out or will they pay me the average...
