If you have a commercial herd, it boils down to how much bad you can stand versus the good she does. A seed stock producer shouldn't have any cows that even sort of have these kind of teats. The rest of the cow looks pretty solid.

There is also Banamine transdermal, which is a pour on down the spine. Withdrawal is 4 days if I recall correctly. A dose of transdermal seems to provide about 48 hours of pain relief just based on my observations.

This isn't true pressure and release. As soon as the calf moves the donkey is taking out the slack again and calf doesn't get much reward. They no doubt get broke to lead, but there are better ways.
