A few month's back there was a string on ideas for cross fencing a pond and also a picture of someone's fence. I have tried to search for for this but have not been able to find it.
It is so dry here that I can wade and do whatever I need right now. Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
We grow a vegetable garden every year. It burnt up in June this year. Kept the tomatoes watered for a few weeks and then just gave up. I didn't get my fill before it dried up. I ran the brush hog over it this weekend. We also try to keep a landscaped lawn with flower beds and such.
I've got on like that. I was concerned when he was new born. He is about 4 months old and is doing fine, just sticks out his tongue and lets it hang out about and inch or two. Comical looking. He tickles me every time I see him.
I didn't know we had rattlers in my area until this year. It has been very dry here and all my neighbors seemed to have killed monsters. Knock on wood, I haven't seen any. I've kept me and my cows out of the wooded areas.

My God, my God. I have never seen anything like this. I hope the nation comes together like they did on 9/11 and there is an out pouring of love and help for our brothers and sisters on the gulf.
It's a hoot! Like hunting for Easter eggs. You never know what your going to find. I have a BD bull and he has always produced black calves with two Charlaois cows we have. This year we had a what looked like a soot covered grey calf with mascara around the eyes and black ears. Look's odd with...
I remember a few years back hearing an OSU Extension person talk about feeding litter mixed with corn, grain or something. The gist I got from him was that it had very little nutrition value from the litter. It would just be filler mixed with the corn.
Didn't ever know what it was called but I have some. It's not bermuda. I have that too and when I Round Up around the sidewalk to kill the bermuda, this grass will grow back. It does seem to grow where other plants won't. It has a shallow root system but I don't know how you would get rid of it...
