Lot 51 -- $1,600 – Bama Scotch Cap 9248. A 6-15-99 son of RR Scotch Cap 9440. Sold to James R. Lee, Heflin, Ala. Consigned by Choccolocco Angus, Anniston, Ala.

Top Females:

Lot 21X -- $2,125 – DBF Blackbird EXT 576. A 11-7-96 daughter of EXT bred to Twin Valley Fix It and her 9-5-00 bull calf by Scotch Cap. Sold to Leon Smith, Oxford, Ala. Consigned by Double Branch Farm, Lineville, Ala.

Lot 14 -- $1,850 – DBF RT Blackbird 338. A 9-30-98 daughter of Leachman Right Time bred to Vermillion Dateline with a 9-22-00 heifer calf by Homestead Top Ambush. Sold to Allen Crowe, Eastaboga, Ala. Consigned by Double Branch Farm, Lineville, Ala.

Lot 6 -- $1,795 – Macedon Blackcap Missie 317. A 11-10-97 daughter of Woodhill Triple Threat bred to Leachman Explorer. Sold to Allen Crow, Eastaboga, Ala., for $1,085 and her 7-24-00 heifer calf by Bama Rito 8E8 5H11 Traveler sold for $610 to Robert Davie of Anniston, Ala. Consigned by Choccolocco Angus, Anniston, Ala.

This was the most active sale to date for Choccolocco Angus and Guests. Of special interest were young bred cows safe in calf. Many who purchased were repeat buyers. The cattle for the most part looked good. The bulls were the best set of bulls consigned to this sale to date.
