The following is a summary of “The Senepol Sale” held in Kissimmee, Fla. on July 14, 2001. A great crowd of domestic and international buyers participated sending cattle to seven states and Venezulea.

The top selling bull was lot 42, consigned by Prime Rate Ranch, seling 2/3 interest and full possession for $6,000. Buyers were Parker Senepol, Rogersville, Ala.; King Farms, Jackson, Ala.; Oak Lane Ranch, Hurley, Miss.; and TNT Senepols, Pollack, La.

The top selling female was lot 16, cow and heifer calf, consigned by Honey Bee Creek Senepol. The pair sold for $3,050 with the cow bringing $2,000 and selling to Oak Lane Ranch, Hurley, Miss., and the heifer calf selling to TNT Senepols, Pollock, La., for $1,050.

Voume buyers were: James Hall, LoRanger, La., with 13 lots; Out-Back Ranch, Inc., Gouldo, Fla., with 8 lots and Morgan Gulledge, Greenwood, Miss., with five lots.
