This was one of the highest quality offering to date at the Mississippi Angus Association sale. The cattle were young, had strong genetics and were well conditioned. Of special interest were the stout bull calves at side of their dams. One other highlight was the selling of a heifer donated by Northfork Angus, Middleton, Tenn., with all proceeds going to the Eastern Regional heifer show sponsored by the Mississippi Junior Angus Association. The heifer, a 3-20-00 daughter of High Valley 4C6 Ambush sold for $2,300 the first time to a syndicate who in turn donated her back to be sold again. The second time she brought $2,200 going to Jake & Cassie St. Arnant of Union Church, Miss.
