This was without a doubt the best quality set of Angus cattle ever offered by this progressive group. A highlight of the sale was the establishment of a Tommy Burk scholarship fund. Richview Angus Farm, Neil Richardson, donated a 1-24-00 SAF Fame heifer to be auctioned off with proceeds going to the scholarship fund. The heifer sold for $1,800 to Raybar Farms, Crossville, Tenn. Also included in the package was semen donated by Pat Garrett, local Genex representative and Ivomec donated by Fred Shulen representing Merial.
