Top Bulls:

Lot 14 -- $4,300 – KD Bushman Precision 9102. A 11-6-99 son of KD Bushman sold to Monarch Farms, Folsom, La.

Lot 55 -- $3,600 – KD Chevis 9187. A 12-4-99 son of KD Chevis 404E sold to Richland, Inc. of Norwood, La.

Lot 22 -- $3,500 – KD Durable Blend. A 10-21-99 son of PaPa Durabull 9805 sold to Swayze Home Place of Benton, Miss.

Top Pen of F1 Heifers:

Lot 12 -- $4,005—3 F1 Braford heifers. Heifers bred to KD Angus bulls that were 7 months safe in calf sold for $1,335 each to Roy W. Pierre of Folsom, La.

Second Top Pen of F1 Heifers:

Lot 9 -- $6,175 – 5 F1 Braford heifers. Heifers bred to KD Angus bulls that were 7 months safe in calf sold for $1,235 each to Gary Maggio of Slaughter, La.

This was the most successful sale to date for this progressive operation. The number of bulls were raised to over 80 this year and this was the best conditioned set of bulls ever sold at KD Cattle, Inc. Bull buyers were numerous and selected bulls by quality. The F1 heifers were the best overall and buyers were eager to bid on these females. KD Cattle, Inc. is the largest Angus breeder in Louisiana.
