On September 8th cattlemen from across the nation gathered in Bisco, N.C. to bid on a powerful set of females offered by J-Bob Farms.

Topping the impressive offering was JBOB 92C 1130F ET a Homozygous polled black donor. 1130F is a Jetstream daughter out of the famed J-Bob donor JBOB 92C, she combines high growth and maternal strength in an eye appealing package. Steve Tarvin of Crawfish Creek Farms, Chickamauga, Ga. won the bidding war with a bid of $16,000.

Not far behind the high seller, at $15,200,was JBOB 92C 1385G ET a homozygous polled black donor. 1385G is a Post Rock Black Savvy daughter also out of JBOB 92C and sold with a homozygous polled double black heifer calf at side. Catawba Cattle Co. of Denver, N.C. bid $15,200 to add this headline donor to their already strong program.

Topping the bulls was JBOB 3430K, a homozygous black homozygous polled Echo son out of JBOB 1385G. This herdsire prospect offers performance, balance, and eye appeal to make him a sale day favorite. Dewain Mackey of Mackey Farms, Mars Hill, N.C. picked up JBOB 3430K with a bid of $11,600.

Jumping Cow Gelbvieh of Ramaha, Colo. purchased the high selling bred heifer for $8,800. JBOB 3119K ET is a black double polled Echo daughter out of a JBOB 571E a high selling donor in the Carolina Pride IV Sale. 3119K puts pedigree, performance and phenotype in a beautifully balanced package.
