A total of 138 bulls sold for an average of $1,504.
Thirty-three consignors from 7 states sold 11 breeds of bulls to 68 buyers from five states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee).
The sale was topped at $2,900 with the top 10 bulls averaging $2,600; the top 25, $2,348; the top 50, $2,087; the top 75, $1,897; and the top 100, $1,728.
The Champion Range Bull was Lot 154, a Simmental bull consigned by Cane View Farm of Petersburg, Tenn. He sold for $2,800 to Miller Farms of Linden, Ala.
The Champion Pen-of-Three Bulls were Lots 154, 155, and 156, Simmental bulls consigned by Cane View Farm of Petersburg, Tennessee. The pen average was $2,533.
The Champion Pen-of-Five Bulls were Lots 41, 42, 43, 45, and 46, Braford bulls consigned by Greenview Farms, Inc., of Screven, Ga. The pen average was $1,180.
The Reserve Champion Pen-of-Three Bulls were Lots 4, 6, and 7, Angus bulls consigned by Circle T Farm of Greenville, Ala. The pen average was $2,350.
The Reserve Champion Pen-of-Five Bulls were Lots 145, 146, 147, 148, and 150, Simmental bulls consigned by Arnold Farms of Petersburg, Tenn. The pen average was $2,260.
The top-selling bull was Lot 89, a Charolais bull consigned by Catawba Valley Charolais of Newton, N.C., and selling for $2,900 to W. S. Newell Farms of Montgomery, Ala.
The volume buyer was MWM Walden Farm of Daleville, Alabama with eight bulls.
