Lot 25 -- $2,775 – Macedon Hartley Eline 127. A 1 17 97 daughter of Macedon Future bred to CAR Commitment, sold for $1,725 to Carlton Benton, Fayette, Ala. Her 10 14 01 bull calf by Connealy Leadtime sold for $1,050 to Roy Smith, Valley Head, Ala.

As usual, a well maintained, good conditioned set of cattle was offered by Macedon Farms for their 77th Anniversary sale on May 11, at the farm near Madison, Ala. The cattle were typical Macedon type and the crowd was the typical loyal customers for Macedon Farms. Featured were calves by such bulls as Rito 616, Bon View New Design 036 and Connealy Leadtime. Of special interest was the service of the new and powerful Macedon True Commitment, a GAR Commitment son out of a proven pathfinder dam backed by 77 years of solid performance breeding.
