Light rain and cool weather could not dampen the spirit at Cedar Creek Cattle Company for their second annual production sale on Saturday, September 21. The crowd was large and bidding was active as cattle sold into more than seven states.

One of the most popular lots was lot 2x, LLF GA Blackcap 6807 897, a powerful DHD 6807 daughter out of the $52,000 donor dam LB Blackcap EXT 645. When the dust settled and the gavel fell R&R Cattle Company of Keithville, La., was the new proud owner at the purchase price of $6,000.

Partisover Ranch of Colbert, Ga., took possession of lot 31, CC Rita Beth of 4B39 1483 with a final bid of $3,900. A daughter of RR 9440 Scotch Cap 1483 out of Rita 4B39 of 9A9 Bando this female is destined for the donor pen.

Kahn Cattle Company from Rydal, Ga., seized the opportunity to take home another one of the top lots, CC Trish 810 of G22 Ambush. This daughter of Paramont Ambush 2172 commanded $3,200 from her new owners and was carrying the service of Twin Valley Precision E161 and is sure to be heard from again.
