This year's sale was well attended with over 400 guests under perfect skies.
The field day prior to the sale highlighted a performance report on Braford cattle by Findlay Pate from the Ona Beef Research unit. This was followed by a cattle and pasture tour by Bud Adams, featuring new composite breeds.
The sale results were 19 head of Braford Bulls averaging $1,921; 24 Composite Bulls averaging $1,707, and 42 heifers averaging $674. Eighty percent of the buyers were repeat buyers.
Private Treaty bulls were available before and after the sale, priced at $1,200 and $1,500 each.
Adams Ranch is looking forward to next year's 25th Annual Bull Sale.
