Top selling cow/calf pair was Lot Io consigned by Boot Jack Cattle Company with the cow selling to Steve Linkowsiki, Avello, Pa. for $2,400 and the calf selling to John Widdowson, Kenesaw, Neb. and Ray Apple, Rydal, Ga., for $2,500. The second high seller was Lot 31 consigned by Grandview Red Angus selling to Atkinson Red Angus, Pulaski, Tenn., for $4,000. The third high selling pair was Lot 32 consigned by Grandview Red Angus selling to Higdon Cattle Company, Pascagoula, Miss., for $3,500.
The top selling bred heifer was Lot 77 consigned by Shamrock Nook Red Angus selling to Rocky Hills Farms, Petersburg, Tenn. and Huffman Red Angus, Salisbury, N.C. for 5,050. Second high seller was Lot 68 consigned by Redland Red Angus selling to Hust Cattle Company, Slaughters, Ky. for $3,500. Third high seller was Lot 7 consigned by Boot Jack, Cattle Company selling to Morgan Branch Red Angus, Leicester, N.C. for $2,500.
The high selling open heifer was Lot 78 consigned by Shamrock Nook Red Angus selling to Rocky Hill Farms, Petersburg, Tenn. and Tennessee Valley Red Angus for $4,300. The second high seller was Lot 79 consigned by Shamrock Nook Red Angus selling to Jimmy and Henry Whitley, Horton, Ala. for $2,600. The third high seller was Lot 8 consigned by Boot Jack Cattle Company selling to Morgan Branch Red Angus for $2,000. Also third place was Lot 66 consigned by Rakestraw Farms selling to Swannee Creek Farm, Oldtown, Fla., for $2,000.
The high selling embryo package, Lot 5 was consigned by Boot Jack Cattle Company selling to Edwards Ranch, Harrison, Ark., for $1,800. Second high seller was Lot 44 consigned by Larson Red Angus, Big Timber, Mont. and Strawberry Ridge Red Angus selling to Grandview Red Angus, Culleoka, Tenn., for $5,000.
The top selling bull was Lot 86 consigned by Rocky Hill Farms, Petersburg, Tenn. selling ½ interest to 3K Land & Cattle Company, Lewisville, Texas, for $5,000.
Second high seller was Lot 84 consigned by Copeley Farms selling to Ron Rasser, Red Cloud, Neb., for $2,000.
Limited semen packages Lot 83 consigned by Chicken Creek Farms sold six packages one each to Boot Jack Cattle Company, Albany, Mo.; Higdon Cattle Company, Pascagoula, Miss.; McLean Red Angus, Stone Mountain, Ga.; Shamrock Nook Red Angus, Albany, Wis.; Forster Red Angus, Richardton, N.D.; Morgan Branch Red Angus, Leicester, N.C. for a total of $15,000.
Mont Vue Farms, Knoxville, Tenn. was the volume buyer, taking home seven head of Red Angus females. Cattle sold in fourteen different states.
