Top selling bull went to Chambliss Hererfords, Hardinsburg, Ky. for $10,000. Second top selling bull brought $6,000 and went to Parker Ranch, Choteau, Okla. Third top bull went for $5,500 and went to W.A. Shifflett, Grottoes, Va.
The two top selling registered heifers went to Michael Coley, Castalian Springs, Tenn. and Mike Reynolds, Headland, Ala., for $1,900 each.
There were 70 buyers with cattle going to 12 states. Volume bull buyers were Jimmy L. Broussard, Newbern, Ala.; Messer Cattle Farms, Wedowee, Ala.; Flint Hill, West Point, Ga.; House Farm, Uriah, Ala.; Day Break Farm, Anderson, Ala.; Jerry James, Tuscumbia, Ala.; and Joe Jeffcoat, Tallassee, Ala. Commercial heifer volume buyer was Har-Lou Farm, Dandridge, Tenn. with 30 head.
