This was the first year for the Southeast Angus Classic to be held at the beautiful Lawler Farms in Opelika, Ala. Charles Lawler and Bruce Randall, manager, had the place well prepared for this sale. The hospitality was great as all the consignors worked hard to make this sale a success. The cattle were a superior group and the split off heifer calves were extremely popular. This sale had strict requirements in that all cattle had to be A.I. sired out A.I. sired dams and calves had to be A.I. sired.

Volume Buyer: David Rogers, Fort Payne, Ala.

Sale Manager: American Livestock Brokers, Ripley, Miss.

Auctioneer: Jarvene Shackelford, Ripley, Miss.
