The demand for Fleckvieh genetics was certainly obvious at the Quest V, probably more so than any of the other previous successful sales. Even with the current health restrictions limiting exports, we had an extreme amount of interest from Canada, Mexico, Columbia, and Brazil along with many new purchasers in the Northern United States. Ranches from Canada, the US, Central and South American attempted to buy with lots going to Canada, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Colorado, Missouri, Georgia, South Dakota, Kansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Oregon, Illinois, and Michigan. Equally exiting was the demand and battle for purchasing the ½ bloods by Fleckvieh sires.
