The largest group of outstanding Brangus females in recent history was offered in the 2004 Select Female Sale in Andalusia, Ala. Nearly 30 of the top Southeastern Brangus operations really dug deep in their herds and brought some of the very best females offered in any registered sale to date. The cattle were offered in the proven private-treaty format that works extremely well for both the consignors and buyers seem to appreciate. The offerings included 72 head of the top genetics in the breed to registered buyers representing nine different states. The busy weekend was filled with fun, fellowship, educational seminars and a great evening banquet complete with live entertainment.
There were a total of 34 registered buyers. Volume buyers included: Mr. Arthur Barnes, Florala, Ala.; T & M Cattle, Blountville, Ala. and Truitt Farms, Auburn, Ala.

High Selling 3-in-1 – Lot 46; L & W Miss Target 247M by WOW MR Target 833J5. Bull calf sired by Nimitz of Brinks. Purchased by Mr. Gerald Sumrall of Cottsworth Farms, North Carrollton, Miss. Price $3,500.
