Mount Sterling, Ky.

An outstanding set of Gelbvieh females were offered at the Chenault Ag Center in Mount Sterling, Kentucky on April 30. Three days of rainy weather did not dampen the crowd's spirit. Lot 16/16A was the high selling pair consigned by Arthur Slaughter of Fredonia, Ky. This beautifully made Black Image daughter sold with a Freedom's Reflection heifer calf at side to Ronald Reynolds of Eubank, Ky.

Andy Tinberg of Tinberg Family Farm was final bidder at $3,100 on Lot 29/29A, a powerful JBOB RC female with a Mach One bull at side. Dan Toussant of Minerva, Ohio landed on lot 30/30A for $2,700. This ET full sister to lot 29 was another RC daughter with a Mach One bull calf at side. These were two of the many quality consignments from Lazy S Gelbvieh of Ball Ground, Ga.

Hill and Dale Farms of Franklinton, N.C. purchased Lot 48/48A at $2,800. This powerful Extra female from Arthur Slaughter caught the eye of many in attendance. This attractive young lady sold with a Freedom's Reflection bull calf at side. Circle R Gelbvieh of Richmond, Ky., picked up Lot 6/6A for $2,700. Consigned by Bar None Ranch, this Freightrain daughter had a Champ sired show heifer prospect at side.

Volume buyers for the sale were Circle R Gelbvieh with eight lots, Andy Tinberg with seven lots, and Kenneth Dick with five lots.
