This association does a great job promoting. This year really paid off! The barn was full and the cattle were an excellent set. One of the highlights of each years sale is the Tommy Burks Memorial Scholarship heifer package. This year the heifer was donated by Harold Dillard, Dillard Angus, Gordonsville, Tenn. and was purchased by Kemp Farms, Pleasant Shade, Tenn. This year the Upper Cumberland Angus Association gave three $2,000 scholarships to individuals in the College of Agriculture at Tennessee Tech University.
