A crowd of over 600 enjoyed a beautiful day in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas at the Parker Red Angus Ranch Renewed Commitment Sale on April 9, 2005. Many of the buyers commented that the "Fit for the Farm" bull exercise program created some of the best, ready to work bulls that they had seen in a long time, keeping with the main priority of the Parker Ranch: Producing Fit and Functional Cattle that Get Your Cows Bred.

Hiliner Moore of Richmond, Texas was a volume buyer of 21 bulls. Jason Syner of Warner, Oklahoma purchased 15 bulls and 11 heifers. John Harris of Russellville, Ark. purchased 21 heifers.

Lot 5 - LSF Combination 4097P (LSF Combination A301 M X RSLNd Rebella 102 502), the high selling bull of the sale at $8,000 went to first time buyer Don Schumacher of Hays, Kansas.

Lot 12 - Parker Coast2Coast P016 (BECK Cherokee Cnyn 4912 X LSF Rachel LA409) sold to Randy Kerman of Gideon, Iowa for $6,200.

Lot 100 - NSF Maximus N718 (Bieber Make Mimi 7249 X MS Neo Sho Mille L691) sold to Glenn Brown of Diamond, Missouri for $6,000.

Sandy Stephens of Salem, Mo. tied together with a real nice set of heifers: Lots -- 282, 283, 284, 285, and 286 for $1,600 each.

Lazy G. Ranch of Gilbert, Ariz. bought the two highest selling open heifers in Lots 292 and 294 for $1,775 each
