2nd High Bull:
Lot 31 -- $5,100 -- KD 12AVRD 3176. A 10-25-03 son of Vermillion Dateline 7078 out of a Black Bull Charisma daughter sold to John William Powell, Liberty, Miss.
3rd High Bull:
Lot 82 -- $4,900 -- KD Dateline 4007. A 2-23-04 son of Vermilion Dateline 7078 out of a KD Chevis 404E daughter. Sold to Bradley and Steve Gayle, Clinton, La.
4th Co-High Bull:
Lot 7 -- $4,000 -- KD ND 878 3084. A 09-27-03 son of Bon View New Design 878 out of a KDSC Powerpounder daughter. Sold to Evergreen Angus, Evergreen, La.
4th Co-High Bull:
Lot 21 -- $4,000 -- KD Bullet Right Time. A 10-19-03 son of Highline Right Time 338 out of a KD Bando Bullet daughter. Sold to Robert Harper, Hammond, La.
Top Pen of Heifers:
Lot 21 -- $2,150 each -- Five F1 Braford heifers, seven months bred to KD Angus Bulls. Sold to Powell Farms, Liberty, Miss.
2nd High Pen of Heifers:
Lot 20 - $2,100 each. Two F1 Braford heifers, seven months bred to KD Angus Bulls. Sold to Powell Farms, Liberty, Miss.
3rd High Pen of Heifers:
Lot 4 - $1,900 each. Four F1 Brangus Heifers seven months bred to KD Angus Bulls. Sold to Mosley Mallette, Vancleave, Miss.
This was the 11th Annual Sale for KD Cattle Inc. The Angus bulls were the best overall group ever offered by KD Cattle, Inc. Out of the 98 bulls sold 11 sold for $3,000 or above. Many repeat buyers were on hand. The F1 heifers were a highlight of this sale. They were a super set of females that were sought after heavily. The top two pens brought over $2,100, each a new high for KD heifers.
