The 17th Annual EPD Bull and Heifer Sale held on Feb. 17 at the Mid-State Stockyards in Letohatchee found producers from all over the state bidding on top bulls. The sale featured 89 lots that sold on average for $1,953 grossing and overall total $180,375.
The top priced bull went to Terry Bowan of Prattville for $5,900. Herman Walker of DeFuniak Springs, Fla. was the highest volume bull buyer, and William Martin of Montevallo bought the most heifers.
Overall the sale grossed $180,375; the average price per bull was $1,953.
