The Southeast Simbrah Alliance held their seventh annual sale at Tyler, Texas and along with a very large Simbrah PTP Show the following morning, both events were very successful. The devastation of the hurricane in the South East where Simbrah has a very large presence was notable as a lot of breeders ranches where damaged or destroyed. Still having a large turnout and strong sale was a definite positive statement as many of the cattle consigned went to these states. Cattle sold to Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kentucky and Texas with potential buyers registered from several other states and Mexico. McNeese State University's ranch program donated sale day labor from their Ag Department and several SESA members donated top Simbrah genetics to enhance their college's Simbrah program.

High Selling Lots:

$2,850 -- ZZ Tasha J135/Hfr Calf (Pair). Consigned by Filegonia Cattle Co, Monte Alto Texas. Cow sold to Pine Ridge Ranch, Athens, Texas, fdor $1,250 and the calf sold to Jordan Pruitt, DeQuincy, La., for $1,600.

$2,400 -- SNF Miss Red Rose P18 (Open Heifer). Consigned by Stille Nacht Farms, Waxahachie Texas. Sold to Baring Land & Cattle Co, Elmendorf, Texas.

$2,000 -- ZZ Ramona P560 (Bred Heifer). Consigned by Filegonia Cattle Co, Monte Alto, Texas. Sold to RX Simbrah, Ballinger, Texas.
