MO BRANGUS AND OAK KNOLL BLACK BRANGUS BULL SALE AVERAGES $2,367

Friday, October 6, 2006 Mo Brangus and Oak Knoll Ranch, Inc. held their 11th Annual Black Brangus Bull Sale at Arcadia Stockyard in Arcadia, Fla. A good group of cattlemen were on hand and bidding was fast. Tommy Barnes did a very good job as our auctioneer. It's been a privilege to work with the Arcadia Stockyard each year to sell my bulls, I'd say from my own experience this is the best sale barn around. We would like to thank Carl McKettrick manager owner and all his staff they performed very well. We sold 78 lots with several repeat buyers who have bought MO Brangus and Oak Knoll Ranch bulls four many years. This year's top selling bulls were Lot #19 of Oak Knoll Ranch sold to Watford Cattle for the amount of $3,500. Lot #4 of Oak Knoll Ranch sold to Watford Cattle for the amount of $3,250. Lot #14 of Oak Knoll Ranch sold to Kissimmee Oaks Ranch for the amount of $3,200. Lot #8 of Oak Knoll Ranch sold to Kissimmee Oaks Ranch for the amount of $3,200. Lot# 66 of MO Brangus sold to Blackwater Creek Ranch for the amount of $3,000. We would like to thank all of those who attended the sale and especially those whom purchased a bull from either Mo or myself: We hope to see you at next year's sale.
