    Wagyu owners

I'm curious if the Wagyu owners on here have any data on their bulls and heifers at a year. Fullbloods is what I am interested in finding data on. Just wondering about weights, heights, and scrotal measurements at a year of age, and whether they were raised on pasture or creep fed.

    Bull calf

My new bull calf does something I haven't sen before, he loops his tail over his back and holds it there on a regular basis, kinda like a Spitz breed dog with it's tail curled over it's back. Have you ever seen this, or know why they do it?

    New calf

Had a whopper of a calf born yesterday, 97 pound bull calf out of Retail Product. I've seen some big improvements since changing things last year, cows weigh more and are in better condition, better weaning weights, and newborns are weighing more too.

    Bull calf

What do you think of my 3 1/2 month old bull calf? That's the heifer he is out of next to him, and two 10 month old heifers behind him. http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l59 ... months.jpg

    Young bull calf eating hay

I have a 2 1/2 month old angus bull calf that is eating a good bit of hay, how normal is this? He started picking at it when he was about two weeks old and really has an appetite for it now. His momma has milk and he nurses frequently. Just seemed strange seeing one start that young. :???:

    Mineral Feeders

For those that use the loose mineral feeders with the wind vane hood, do the cows knock those around and tip them over? Do you try and stake them down some how?

    Funeral Percession

A man was leaving a convenience store with his morning coffee when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery. A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary man...

    Black Angus size and weights....

I was wondering what the black angus breeders would consider their ideal birth weight, weaning weight, year weight, mature weight, and frame size for both bull and cow? :) With efficiency in mind too.
