Some models of newholland balers don’t have clearance for alligator lacing.

One thing I do each year is replace the lacing gut, if you don’t they will wear the lacing and can be hard to remove. Another thing that prolongs lacing life is using the crimp on furrule.

Can’t help with air seat, but on my 3020 when I needed a new one I picked up a deluxe boat seat and a swivel base.

Looks like it is a vented plug, likely water in the oil by the colour. Seeing it is not leaking at the shaft seal the bearings probably are not gone. I would change the oil and run it and see what happens.
