    Moving day

That's AWESOME I don't care who says otherwise!!! I want to move pastures that way but they're 6 miles apart and you'd have to go right through the middle of town. I suspect they'd frown on it!

    eliminating wild blackberries

I've been very successful with 1 qpa Remedy in water with a good surfactant. As everyone said you need to do it again the next year but there will be very little on year two.

    Hay unroller

Kentuckyguy I LOVE yours!! I've searched youtube for a long time but I like yours better than any of those. I may try to duplicate it if I can figure it out. Are you confident in moving hay a mile or so across a pasture with it?

    Hay unroller

I've been looking for a video on building a ground driven one and can't find a good one. I think I could do it without plans or a video but I'd like to have someone else's experiences of what worked well and what didn't before I waste $ on tubing.

    how to identify bermuda grass????

I called OSU and asked this question once and was told there is absolutely no test to determine variety. You can pretty much tell the common from the hay varieties, as the improved grows much more "upright." However I have Coastal in a field directly beside Midland 99 and I can't see any...

Price for cutting and baling hay

I see you too are from OK. In south central OK I'm paying $26 if I get my preferred guy, $30 if I don't.

    Sprayer calibration - 15 or 20 GPA

+1....The chemical company I buy from (And the label on Brash I spray with) both say for thicker, heavier cover, use more water P/A. I have a hay field I spray at 10 gpa, while an 80 acre pasture is thickly covered enough it gets 20 gpa early in the year to make sure I get good penetration.

    Spraying Fence Line

I'll second the Remedy Grazon P+D mix (And surfactant of course). I have blackberry, plum thicket, and misc. crap....Sprayed it Saturday morning and virtually every leaf is withered now. Will spot spray again in a week or two.

Milk Weed in Vaughn’s Bermuda Hay Field

I'm with Bird dog. In southern OK I can almost hear the milkweed laughing when I spray 2 4 D.

    ID on "Grassy weed

Thanks a lot Kenny. I'm pretty sure that's my issue. It shows deficient in Phosphorus and Potassium both. I fertilized according to my report in spring of last year, but it's my understanding that is a slow fix. I'm going to pull samples again this weekend to see if I did any good at all...

    ID on "Grassy weed

Thanks for the help. I had soil samples from last year (Which is when this hay was cut) and looked at them last night. My PH was 6.2 and the extension office fays 5.7 to 7.0 for Bermuda. I felt like my PH was pretty decent. My fertilizer supplier is very knowledgeable so I'm confident they...

    ID on "Grassy weed

Thanks for the help. That's what my chemical company told me. Guess I have to fix it with fetilizer, and they told me it would take 2 to 3 years. My soil sample shows within normal PH range for Bermuda but I'll have to work on it a little. Cows and horses have both been quite unhappy with me...

    ID on "Grassy weed

Hopefully this image shows up. I need help identifying this so I can spray for it(if possible) this year. It came up in coastal Bermuda just about time for second cut this year. I've always called it cheatgrass but I don't think it really is cheat. My chemical company told me yesterday it...
