Old Gert Question (Macon--you might be able to weigh in)

Maybe. Would like to see what kind of cow the dam is. I'd like to improve milk and marbling a bit. Of course, he is a bull produced 45 years ago, and looks like no calves have been registered of his in 30 years.

    Mud shot

My smaller tractor with FWA was slipping and sliding while pulling the hay trailer a couple weeks ago. Thew my hands up and got the 100HP and didn't look back. I don't think I have even started the smaller tractor since. It would be nice for this rain to come when we need it most.

    What cows w/Gert bull?

Brian, If I had 30 like her, I could have them sold faster than I could get feed to them!

gonna buy some really small cows

So, selling a calf for $589.30 was the highest selling calf that day? Price per pound is ok, but it's the amount on the check that matters.

We did surgery on that to repair it. A couple hundred dollars didn't seem bad to spend on my kid. She...

    gert cross

I'm not BC, but that is correct. Only one parent has to be registered Gert to allow in the Star 5 program. The other parent can be registered whatever, or a commercial animal.

    Keeping my first bull

Are you only talking about Longhorns? I've seen many bulls that can't get the job done. Spend some time around a bunch, and you'll see it.

Show your bull(s) - Put a pic up

Here is an updated picture of the L&L 300 son WR Challenger grandson I had posted MANY pages ago. He has spent over the last month at Genex in isolation getting collected for export.
