Murrey Grey- we had a MG bull we used on our angus heifers, calf looks just like ours did. Same head, body and color. Our calves were all calm and easy to handle. I would keep it just because we raised some MG cross heifers and they turned into good mommas. And they were always easy to handle. ;-)

I think you would really like the MG we bought a MG to put on our black angus heifers and we could do anything with that bull his calves were all calm and easy to work. We never had to put the bull in a chute. We had him 3 years and we wormed him and everything right in the field. But I will say...

Well I grow cattle and Im a contract broiler grower and I dont know about Nebraska, but everywhere Ive been farm land is getting harder and harder to find or afford. My point is theres not enough land to feed the world on grass fed critters whether it be cattle,hogs or chickens.

We use a murray grey on our heifers which are comm. cattle. There around 50lb at birth and they put the meat on faster than anything Ive ever seen. When we sell them at the salebarn they call em ang-char cross and Ive never been dissappointed in the price.

I agree. But we no nothing much about this calf besides the pic and he may not of had enough cream poured to him to start rising yet.

Do you honestly think that these big breeders arent pouring the feed to their bull calves from birth till their big sale days when the bulls are 15 months and ready to breed.

Im having a time trying to find a breeder around here that has bulls to suit me. I had hoped that this one would grow out to be a good bull but hes coming 4 and it never happened.

We would have liked a little more length on him. But for a heifer bull we love him. We bred all our heifers to him and have never had to pull one. And his calves have a great disposition, they are calm and easy to work.
