Attended as usual. Bulls were trim and ready to work but seemingly buyers were looking for fat bulls. All the water from the storms must have kept them walking for the last few months. Most bulls went from $1300-$1500 with a few going up to $2100. Heifers prices were in the sky. The first lot of bred heifers went by frenzy to $1900/head. After that it calmed a little and I bought the balance (19 in all) for an average of $1294/head. All were at or near 3rd trimester. A lot higher than I had hoped for my own sake, but good for Adam's Ranch Organization. What a great group of people and a pleasure to attend. Looked around for Macon, didn't see him, but Luke Mobley was taking bids from our section of the stands.
