Angus breeders from
across the country have consigned 76 lots to the 2007 National Western Angus
Bull Sale, sponsored by the American Angus AssociationSM. Sale activities are set for Thursday, January 11 at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colo. The sale begins at 2 p.m. in the Beef Palace Auction Arena.
The day's activities begin at 9 a.m. when all bull sale lots will parade before a panel of five judges. Judges will select two champions from each age division before selecting grand champions to lead the sale with. Judges include Brian Barragree, Absarokee, Mont.; Mike Jones, Folsom, La.; Greg McCurry, Sedgwick, Kansas; Doug Parrett, Urbana, Ill.; and Matt Perrier, Eureka, Kan.
For the first time in 2007, the sale will be broadcast via the Internet at www.liveauctions.tv. Roger Jacobs, Shepherd, Mont., will serve as the auctioneer. A sale catalog can be viewed online at www.angusjournal.com or requested by calling the American Angus Association.
