EMBRYO LOTTERY RAISES FUNDS FOR 2007 NATIONAL JUNIOR ANGUS SHOW

The Arkansas and Oklahoma Angus Associations are conducting an embryo lottery to raise funds for the 2007 National Junior Angus Show, set for July 1-7. Only 1,000 tickets will sell, and ticket purchasers will have the opportunity to win one of 22 embryo packages donated from breeders throughout the United States.

The tickets sell for $100, and all proceeds will help support the NJAS, the largest single-breed beef cattle show in the world. A drawing to determine the winners of the embryo packages will be held during the show, which is set for the Expo Square in Tulsa, Okla.

Cost and risk of shipment and implantation of the embryos is the responsibility of each winner. All embryos are stored at TransOva Genetics, Sioux Center, Iowa. The show committee, sponsor ranches or TransOva do not guarantee a pregnancy will result from the embryo prize packages.

For more information about the 2007 NJAS or to view a list of embryo donors, go to www.njas.info. To purchase an embryo lottery ticket, contact Keith and Janet Grissom at 405-382-7678.
