DRY CONDITIONS CAUSE PROBLEMS IN SOME AREAS
A couple of weeks ago I was having a conversation with a senior cattleman who told me that the months of October, November and December were the direst that North Texas had experienced since 1928. Then, a few days later I heard a report that much of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana are as much as 17 inches behind on the normal average rainfall for those areas.
