Through his experience at Vista Genetics, Jeff has developed experience conducting cattle sales, developing marketing literature, newsletters and sale catalogs.

While at Vista Genetics Jeff also served on the Board of the Braunvieh Association of America, playing a key role in the development and implementation of an inventory-based registration and performance reporting system. He has a very good understanding of and is a believer in a strong THR program. He was also instrumental in the adoption of Expected Progeny Differences for the breed, including establishing and managing a sire progeny testing program.

Jeff earned a BS in Animal Business in 1992 and a MS in Beef Cattle Breeding and Genetics in 1994 from Texas Tech University. Jeff has served on numerous industry associations and committees. He is married and has four children.

At IBBA, Jeff will be developing programs to promote Brangus and Brangus crossbred cattle to commercial cattlemen, feedlots and beef companies. He will also be responsible for managing the IBBA Annual Summit Sale and other similar activities as they develop. He will be responsible for the promotion and advertising direction of Brangus cattle to the broadbase commercial cattle industry along with obtaining performance information from Brangus and Brangus crossbred cattle. His objectives will be to position IBBA, Brangus Cattle and IBBA members in a position to increase market share of bulls and females in the commercial cattle market.
