The Alabama Connection
Members and Alabama Santa Gertrudis Association will host its first Open Jackpot
Show at Tinney Farms in Hanceville, Alabama following the Alabama Connection
Sale at 2:00 p.m., October 7, 2006. The show will be open to all exhibitors.
Females and bulls will be shown according to SGBI classes and rules using a three
man judging team.
The show will have a guaranteed purse of at least $4,000. The Grand Champion
Female and Grand Champion Bull will receive $1,000 each with an Alabama Connection
Bonus of $500, if the Grand Champion animal was purchased in the 2005 or 2006
Alabama Connection Sales. Reserve Champions and Division Champions will prize
monies to be determined.
An entry fee of $25/head is due by September 15th or $40/head is due the day
