Counsil Family Limousin of Madisonville, Texas, has donated the second annual Corner Post Genetics Package female, which will sell during the National Western Stock Show (NWSS) in Denver, Colo.
The Corner Post Genetics Package will be part of the National Limousin Sale, which begins at 6 p.m., Jan. 14, 2008, in the Stadium auction arena. All proceeds from the package will benefit the Corner Post Fund, which will facilitate additional activities and scholarships for Limousin juniors.
CFLX Cheerleader 002T, a Jan. 9, 2007, daughter of Carrousels Peak Power, will headline the package. Her dam is Logan's Cheerleader 280G, a daughter of COLE First Down 46D and the dam of multitrait leader JCL Lodestar 27L. To view any of those animals' full pedigrees, expected progeny differences (EPDs) and other information, enter their names in the �Animal EPD Search� at www.nalf.org on the Web.
The package also includes free registrations for all of the Corner Post female's natural calves from the North American Limousin Foundation (NALF); a farm sign; one in
vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle and a genetic preservation package from Trans Ova Genetics; and insurance from Grassroots Insurance Associates.
