CHAMPIONS SELECTED AT THE 2009 CHAROLAIS JUNIOR NATIONAL

Charolais enthusiasts gathered the week of July 13-17 in Sacramento, California, for the American-International Junior Charolais Association National Junior Show and Leadership Conference. Exhibitors found themselves in the midst of some of the toughest competition in history. Albert Stone, Crossville, Tenn., evaluated the Owned Heifers on July 17 before selecting the champions.

MPO Miss Kayle 8526 Pld, an Oct. 9, 2008 daughter by GWM Texas Riviera 314, exhibited by Matthew Owings, Huntsville, Mo., claimed Division 1 and Grand Champion Female.

Reserve Grand Champion honors went to the Division 1 Reserve Champion, RJB Zelda 813, a Nov. 6, 2008, daughter by WDZ Red Rage 5023 P ET, shown by Cassandra Balvitsch, Ellendale, Minn.
