Denver, Colo., June 15, 2011 -- The Eastern Regional Junior Limousin Show was June 11 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Exhibitors came from Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee. Mike McGuire, Waverly, Ala., evaluated the 59 head of steers, bred-and-owned Lim-Flex� bulls, owned Lim-Flex females, bred-and-owned Lim-Flex females, bred-and-owned Limousin bulls, bred-and-owned Limousin females, owned Limousin females and best pair of females.
Haley Hipp, Harrison, Ark., led the grand champion steer. FDML 422X is a Feb. 20, 2010, son TFR Naughty Pine out of ML Miss Martin 422M and weighed 1,120 lbs.
FC Archangel was crowned grand champion bred-and-owned Lim-Flex bull for Micaela Fosdick, Chenoa, Ill. Archangel is a March 14, 2010, son of LaGrand MAF Antidote 5775 out of SL Silent Angel.
Reserve grand champion bred-and-owned Lim-Flex bull honors went to 3G Xecutioner. Emily Griffiths, Kendallville, Ind., led the Oct. 25, 2010, son of GGGE 3G Smoke N' Mirrors out of 3G Cowgirl Retha.
Callie Hicks, Midway, Ky., led the grand champion owned Lim-Flex female. HB Casual 960W is a Sept. 11, 2009, daughter of KRVN Naskar 013N out of BLEL Casual 645S.
GMEG Lottie followed as reserve grand champion owned female. She is a May 10, 2010, daughter of Logans Remix 303T out of TMCK Lonnie 134U, and exhibited by Megan Greenawalt, Lynchburg, Ohio. GMEG Lottie also claimed champion bred-and-owned Lim-Flex female honors.
Ethan Hodges, Leakesville, Miss., exhibited the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned Lim-Flex female. EWH Xtra Fine 63X is a Nov. 3, 2010, daughter of MAGS Unloosen out of RVDR Udderly Fine 3807U.
ETGC The New Frontier won grand champion bred-and-owned Limousin bull honors for Tyler Green, Crossville, Tenn. The bull is a Sept. 10, 2010 son of MNWS Frontier 507R.
Ethan Hodges led EWH Dakota 73X to reserve grand champion bred-and-owned Limousin bull honors. EWH Dakota 73X is a Oct. 20, 2010, son of EXLR Dakota 353G.
Fosdick exhibited the grand champion bred-and-owned Limousin female with GTF Xquisite Dancer. The heifer is an April 1, 2010, daughter of MAGS Unloosen.
Reserve grand champion bred-and-owned Limousin female went to EWH Xtreme Star 48X. Hodges owns the Oct. 2, 2010, daughter of LESF Asphalt 9N.
The grand champion owned Limousin female was TASF X-Tasy 488X. Adam Griffith, Boonsboro, Md., exhibited the May 20, 2010, daughter of EXLR New Generation 071M and was the Division 2 champion.
Legacy's Miss Pink followed as the reserve champion owned Limousin female. Winnie Chatelain Combs, White House, Tenn., exhibited the Sept. 14, 2009 daughter of MAGS Starbucks and was Division 5 champion.
Taylor Green, Crossville, Tenn., claimed the honors of best pair of females with her entries.
In the showmanship contests, Callie Hicks worked her way to the top of the Junior Division. Taylor Green claimed highest honors in the Intermediate Division. Nathan Sloan, Fouke, Ark., won the title of champion senior showman.
