ranchwife's choco-oat no bake cookies

2 cups sugar
1/2 c butter or margarine
2/3 c milk
dash of salt
2 tsp vanilla
3 c quick oats
1/2 c cocoa powder

combine sugar, butter and milk in a saucepan and bring to boil...boil about 4 minutes or til soft ball stage. Add the salt, vanilla, oats, cocoa and stir. Drop the mixture by spoonfuls onto wax paper and let cool...super easy for the rugrats to help out!!!
