grazing land lease
We just bought property in Waller county Texas. We want to keep the ag exemption but aren't ready to have our own cows. We were offered to lease our land to a neighbor. I'm curious if this would keep our ag exemption and if there was a standard lease agreement we could use.

Re: grazing land lease
Yes, leasing your pasture to someone else can maintain the ag use exemption. Contact your county appraisal district to see what there requirements are. They may require a form/application.
Google "pasture lease agreement". Should get several good examples.
