Hello from Germany

Post by EddiAT » Thu Oct 25, 2018 6:29 pm

Hi,

I am Eddi. I live in a beautyful countryside in Germany. So please excuse my english if I misunderstand something or type wrong.
I have three horses (Criollo) and three dogs (Airedale Terrier) and like cattle.
I found this forum accidentally, came across a question about the difference in appearance from Smmental and Herefords.

I like the idea of a cattle-forum (never thought about looking for one :) ) and hope to have a nice time among likeminded. It is exiting to learn about other countries and how they deal with livestock.

It is late here now, tomorrow I will find out how to upload photos, I miss an upload-button (maybe new members need a few posts before they can use the forum-upload?)

Eddi

Eddi.

It is exciting for me to have contact with someone living in Germany. My father's family came to the United States from Germany. I hope you enjoy the forum. I will look for your posts.

Welcome from Australia Eddi. The name Ed is short for Edward here, we have Eadie which is a female name so Eddi, are you a chick or a guy. You are welcome whatever gender.

Anywhere near Bederkesa or Bielefeld? My family roots, (Dad's side) are from that area. I still have cousins there.

Eddi

Welcome.
Many here, (myself included) are missing the upload button. Most of us use a 3rd party image poster that seems to work pretty well here:
Just go to
https://postimages.org/
Follow the directions, and once it says "100%" then "completed" you can scroll down the page and choose 'thumbnail for forums' or 'hotlink for forums' and paste the corresponding URL in the Cattle Today reply box.
Happy Halloween.
