A couple calves...

Postby NEFarmwife » Sun May 20, 2018 1:18 pm

First one is our little Abby. An RB Confirmed/Abigaile 7425. She was born mid January. The only embryo that either stuck or lived, this year.

This is our donor (279 tag) and calf. She is of out of our RB Tour of Duty daughter. She is just over 2 months old (March 3rd I believe)

I wish I could have snapped a pic when sorting our calves the other day. We have a beautiful heifer (I think the best one, personally) out of a heifer we bred last year to one of our own seedstock. I'll have to grab a photo of her at pasture check.

We start calving mid December and a few smaller calves that we had to run thru the chute were weighing in at 400lbs already. Have a favorite bull calf too, that we purchased this past spring as a pair.

Forgot I got this little guy. He's just a commercial bull calf bred to Property.

I like your embryo calf. Has good middle & thickness.
